Anyone else miss dance tv shows?

Like American Bandstand, Soul Train, Club Mtv. Hell, even though we were punks my friends and I would all go back to mine after school to watch Dance Party USA
Even though you might not have liked the music, watching people get their groove on was good lighthearted fun. I miss that.
Top Comment: What about Solid Gold and Putting On The Hits? Those were my faves. Actually, maybe POTH wasn't a dance show but more a singing/talent show. My memory is a. bit fuzzy on that one. But yes, I definitely miss shows like this.
Dance mat + Android TV. Any ideas?

Has anyone tried connecting their DDR dance mat in order to play directly on the TV? I tried downloading BeatX app (a Stepmania clone for Android), but the TV doesn't even acknowledge the dance mat as an input. I think it doesn't see it at all. I'm currently searching for joystick center alternative that would be available for Android TV. Do you have any other ideas about what could I do?

Just Dance on Apple TV

Anyone playing just dance on Apple Tv, any reviews?
Top Comment: Hi there! Been trying to use Just Dance Now on Apple TV for a couple of days, but the experience using the Siri Remote (Apple TV remote) is not good. Most of the movements don't register, showing a cross (X), and is very frustrating. Otherwise, I've played using an iPad, Chromecast and computers and the results with an smartphone are quite good. Don't know why the Siri Remote doesn't Work (though they advertise it as functional). Hope my opinion is useful. Have a nice day!
